Glucose values 2 hours after meals represent the glucose tolerance state after meals. A measurement lower than 7.8mmol/L is normal; between 7.8mmol/L and 11.1mmol/L indicates glucose tolerance injury; and higher than 11.1mmol/L indicates diabetes mellitus. For patients with insulin injections, the values show only a specific glucose state, without overall significance.
