No. If one or two reference glucose values seem to deviate from the curve, the curve is still accurate. These deviations mark an inconsistency between reference values, but the curve itself is stable and the sensor and monitoring results accurate. The purpose of testing and inputting the values of the reference glucose is to calibrate the sensitivity of the dynamic sensor. Reference glucose values are needed to determine the slope, when the sensor’s signals current are transferred into the glucose values. The position of the glucose curve on the concentration illustration is decided by the consistence of the reference glucose values. In order to avoid the extreme effect on the whole result caused by the individual finger blood glucose value of large deviation, the software includes the integrate judgment for the whole reference glucose values and the weighted calculation for every single reference value.
