Reference glucose used to calibrate the sensor should be measured once a day. Before going to bed on the first day, you should test the glucose value of finger stick blood; then note it in the events card; for the two days following, test blood glucose before breakfast everyday; and finally, the doctor will input the data under activities/events in the DGMS®software, which the system will automatically calculate and calibrate.
